Welcome to The Barn Green End, our beautiful cottage, overlooking the Esk Valley, between Goathland and Grosmont in the North York Moors National Park
We are a family- run business offering one, self-catering cottage for small groups of up to 7 people and one, well behaved dog.
​The Barn is a lovingly renovated, traditional farm building, attached to our farmhouse, The atmoshere is peaceful and the rooms are bright and spacious and all on one level. We know guests will love the uninterrupted views across the Esk valley, watch the sunsets from here and enjoy the dark skies.
Enjoy easy access to the popular coastal town of Whitby, the North Yorkshire Steam Railway and the beautiful moorland landscapes.

The Barn is underfloor heated throughout and all rooms are renovated to a high standard with modern facilities. It is divided up into 3 main spaces; the large living dining area includes an extendable farmhouse table and a well equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements which work well for extended families and friends meeting up.

Bedroom one has a large en suite bathroom with walk in shower. It has 1 king and 2 single beds.
Bedroom two has a large en suite bathroom with a walk in shower and has one king, one single and one bunk bed.

A great location
The Barn is located close to the villages of Grosmont and Goathland, both having stations for the heritage North York Moors Steam Railway. Guests enjoy walking straight from the Barn onto the huge choice of footpaths.
We are only 9 miles (20 minutes) from Whitby; a favourite seaside destination.
